Hamill Kitchen
A client contacted us too see about updating a kitchen. Their house, a magnificent 1900′s late Victorian, was originally built for the owner of a local lumber yard. The kitchen had been updated in the 1980′s but had been thoroughly used and in need of retiring. Our client was fantastic to work with. A fluid exchange of desires and ideas was exchanged in our preliminary design development. We eventually came to a design influence by the late Victorian period to keep in uniformity with the rest of the house. We added upper glass cabinets and back lit them for ambience. Classic white marble was chosen as well a ice white back splash to keep this design historically accurate. We were able to rebuild their maple butcher block counter to keep a piece of there original kitchen.
